Yesterday's Sunset

Summer Solstice 2008

Through the tele lens, the sun almost blinded me.

I never before came back to see a photo as many times as I did for the one of the previous post. It was every time so rewarding!
Watching today's photos, I would say that your artistic sense is more vivid than ever in the past.

Great photos...

Hate to say it, but, I wanted more, so I had to open my issue of "to fos ton Ellinon" to get satisfaction!

It is the second consecutive post that brings a certain poem to mind, and especially the following two excerpts, and I felt like sharing:

Let us go then, you and I,
When the evening is spread out against the sky
Like a patient etherized upon a table;

[...]

I grow old... I grow old...
I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled.

[...]

(T.S. Eliot, The Love Song of J.Alfred Prufrock)

A most welcome side-effect.

One of my favorite poems.

And not just now, when I am old. I loved it also in my youth - since age is not a matter of years.

I had already "measured out my life with coffee spoons".
